One of Canada’s most acclaimed and much-loved singer-songwriters Cara Luft makes a long-anticipated return with a joyful solo album – her first in over 13 years. The culmination of a period of upheaval and transformation, the album is Cara’s most assured and personal work to date. Cara's guiding principle was simple: to work with friends who embodied kindness, consideration and be generous of spirit. From this ethos emerged the foundations of her new album and a trusted creative entourage she affectionately calls “the Quadrangle of Awesomeness": musician/singer/songwriter Clayton Parsons (Cranbrook, BC), session musician/producer Scott Poley (Liverpool, UK) and engineer Julia Graff (Vancouver, BC). Recorded over 12 days in Vancouver, Cara, Scott and Clayton sang and played nearly everything themselves – guitars, banjos, electric bass and pedal steel – making it an intimate and cathartic experience. It showcases Cara’s remarkable musicianship and uncanny ability to sing about personal things that resonate deeply with the listener without descending into navel- gazing. “I want to create and offer a reflection of the human experience,” she explains. The result, My Heart Will Always Be, is a tour de force. The album is both a personal declaration and a celebration of music’s enduring power to heal, connect and bring joy.

Dustin Dale Gaspard is a bilingual roots, blues, and folk singer-songwriter and a passionate ambassador of Cajun culture. Singing in both English and French - including the refrain “Je ne m’arrêterai jamais” - his music reflects a deep commitment to preserving and evolving his heritage. A three-time Grammy-considered artist, Gaspard toured extensively in 2024, sharing his energetic performances and storytelling with audiences across North America.
In spring 2025, he joined banjoist Tanner Bingaman for a 10,000-mile tour through the northwestern U.S. and Canada, performing in intimate venues ranging from listening rooms to house concerts. His recent EP Avec le Courant traces the journey of his Acadian ancestors, blending tradition with fresh influences from blues, Americana, and Louisiana’s Swamp Pop.
In Fall 2025, Gaspard made history as the first self-represented Cajun artist on The Voice, earning a four-chair turn with a performance in Cajun French. Keeping his performances earnest, genuine, and focused on the story he looks forward to
continuing a career representing his home with his art.
